LiteracyLens · Revised release guidance
A clearer start.
Less setup friction.
Guidance for the revised native workflow; updated screen-by-screen instructions will follow release testing.
Start with what is needed.
The revised setup should collect the observer/workspace and teacher-grade information needed for the visit, while allowing optional location, week-start details and roster import to wait. Partial setup must be preserved.
Choose the current academic year by default, preserve a deliberately chosen future year and confirm the time zone. Teachers may be entered manually, imported from a file, pasted or added later.
Preview a roster before importing.
A readable preview should show teacher names, normalized grades, row status and totals. Correct invalid entries and resolve existing-record matches explicitly. Importing a file again should not silently create duplicates; zero valid rows should not appear as a successful import.
Keep assessment references temporary.
Review and confirm the suggested focus, change it, enter one manually or continue with a standard walkthrough. Imported assessment data is for temporary reference only and does not live in the application. Keep student identifiers and assessment values out of saved notes.
Observe with supported decisions.
Review the nine instructional lenses and the revised evidence-state definitions. Preserve drafts and review the saved state before leaving a visit. These behaviors require acceptance testing in the revised release.
Request the actual product trial.
Free Pilot Trial access is requested by email. Sorvia will confirm duration, access, supported devices and terms. Simulated licensing or visit limits in the old browser demo do not define the native trial offer.
