What happened
after the error?

“During spelling practice, the learner wrote mt for mat.”

THE FOLLOW-UP QUESTION

How did the teacher respond to the omitted vowel, and what did the student do next?

A student error frames a question. It does not, by itself, establish a teaching deficit.

Updated actual-app screenshots will follow implementation and release testing.

Small visits. Purposeful follow-through.

From what you notice
to what happens next.

A practical rhythm for the classroom visit, the coaching conversation, and the work across your building.

01 / OBSERVE

See the instruction.

Select relevant look-fors. Record the task, the teacher’s prompt, and the student response. Use Insufficient opportunity to judge when the visit gives too little relevant opportunity. Not Observed means a relevant opportunity occurred but the indicator was not seen.

02 / SHARE

Make the next step specific.

Review draft suggestions against their source evidence. Agree on one observable action and follow-up, then review the summary before sharing through your school’s approved process.

03 / TRACK

Keep the work moving.

Review domain evidence alongside contributing visits, teachers, date range and scope. Confirm priorities with the observer rather than selecting the lowest mean alone.

Explore building views

A brief walkthrough samples instruction. Interpret it with lesson context and other evidence; it does not establish student achievement or a teacher’s overall effectiveness.

Make the time visible

What could a few
minutes give back?

Put your own assumptions to work. Estimate the time available for coaching when documentation takes less of your week.

Bring evidence to your next meeting.

Explore CSV reports and printable PDF summaries for leadership review and professional learning planning. Your district determines grant and board documentation requirements.

In the browser demo, PDF export uses Print / Save as PDF. Time savings have not been established by a product study.

Your planning estimate

0.8hours per administrator / week
57.6hours across your building / year

$4,320 estimated annual time value · 5.4× the license price

This plan covers up to 2 named instructional leaders at one school.

See the calculation and assumptions

Weekly hours per administrator = walkthroughs × minutes saved ÷ 60. Annual building hours = weekly hours × administrators × school weeks. Time value = annual hours × hourly value. The price comparison divides time value by the selected annual license price.

This is an illustrative estimate, not measured ROI, guaranteed savings, or a reduction in payroll expense. It excludes onboarding time and other costs.

Clear expectations build trust

Know where the evidence goes.

Give your school’s technology and procurement teams a clear place to start.

An adult-led workflow

Principals and coaches conduct observations. Teachers and students do not need demo accounts. Use fictional information in the browser demo.

Core walkthroughs on your device

The actual app’s core walkthrough workflow and observation records run on your iPad or iPhone. You choose when to export and share reports. Optional services and backup paths need release-specific verification.

Review before sharing

The revised export workflow calls for choosing a report, checking its preview and sharing through approved school channels. Keep student names, identifiers, and scores out of notes.

Before you step into the classroom

Built for the classroom. Check the released build offline.

The core walkthrough workflow is designed for offline use on iPad/iPhone. Saving, relaunch and recovery still need testing in the revised release. Speech, backups and sharing may have separate connectivity requirements. The browser demo is a separate experience.

A few practical questions

Start with clarity.

Is the browser demonstration the product trial?

The earlier browser demo uses fictional information and simulated licensing. Its entry point is paused in this package. Use Free Pilot Trial to email Sorvia for actual product access instructions and terms.

Can I use the sample rubric without signing up?

Yes. Download the sample PDF directly. It includes selected instructional look-fors and coaching prompts; it is a planning resource, not the complete in-app scoring rubric or a validated evaluation instrument.

Can a walkthrough prove that instruction is effective?

A brief visit captures a sample. Interpret evidence alongside the lesson context, additional observations, student work, and other information. Use Insufficient opportunity to judge when relevant opportunities are too limited; Not Observed means an opportunity occurred but the indicator was not seen.

Does feedback sync instantly to teachers?

The browser demo uses reviewed exports for sharing and has no automatic teacher delivery or cross-device cloud sync. Confirm the features of the release you plan to license during your trial.
